France's Top Virtual Pet Apps in Q1 2021: A Sensor Tower Data Snapshot

In the first quarter of 2021, France's virtual pet app market saw varied performances among the top contenders. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data gives us a peek into how these apps fared in terms of downloads and user activity.

My Talking Tom Friends, released by Outfit7 Limited, showed a decline in downloads from 32K in the last week of December 2020 to 18K in the final week of March 2021. Weekly active users decreased from 350K to 294K in the same period, while revenue saw a peak of $812K in the week of March 22, 2021.

Similarly, My Talking Tom 2 experienced a drop in downloads from 23K to 14K and active users from 272K to 238K throughout the quarter. The revenue for this app had a high of $1.3M in mid-January, followed by a low of $601K at the quarter's end.

My Talking Angela also observed a downward trend, with downloads starting at 20K and falling to 13K, while active users declined from 197K to 160K. Revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $1.1M in late February.

Outfit7 Limited's My Talking Tom saw a consistent decrease in both downloads, from 18K to 11K, and active users, from 142K to 114K. Revenue varied with a peak at $353K in late March.

Lastly, Applaydu family games marked its presence with its number of downloads peaking at 15K in late January before settling at 11K by the end of March. Notably, this app did not generate revenue during the quarter, but its active users saw a high of 35K in early March.
